Mission

In the light of universal values, the Department of Archaeology has adopted the task of educating individuals who are equipped with the skills to use modern technologies in their profession, and to present their production in the fields of research, teaching and service for the benefit of society. It is among our important duties to train competent archaeologists who can bring the unique cultural assets of our country to light with scientific methods and to train staff who know how to protect and exhibit these artefacts in our museums with modern methods.
